Service Description
Childbirth Education is designed to help you navigate through your pregnancy, labor, and birth. By gaining accurate, evidenced based, and up to date information. Furthermore you will be empowered, get your questions answered and make informed decisions about your care. Attending a childbirth class can help reduce any anxiety you and your partner may feel about your upcoming birth. Studies suggest that expectant parents who attend childbirth education have a higher chance of a vaginal birth and significantly reduces the chances of a preterm birth. ‘Would you like to be empowered and prepped for your birth? Particularly this class will teach what to expect during your pregnancy and how to prep for birth. Moreover by learning breathing techniques, and comfort measures. Not only the benefits of labor and birthing positions to help you achieve optimal fetal birthing position. As well as you will learn the signs and stages of labor, what a Doula is and the benefits of having one. Finally this class will be taught by an experienced Certified Childbirth Educator, and there are no wrong or silly questions. Come and have all your childbirth needs met to get you ready for your birth, in a warm, supportive, safe and professional environment. Additionally you will learn: •The difference between an OB/GYN and a midwife. •Learn about hospital birth, home birth, and birth center birth •Pain management •Informed consent •Water birth •What are Braxton hicks vs. Contractions? •Learning about pre-natal tests in the 1st-3rd trimester. •Golden Hour •Newborn procedures
