Mommy & Baby Groups is a curated safe space, where you can relax and unwind, we facilitate a warm trusting environment. Mommy & Baby groups can be a good way to receive positive encouragement and reassurance. Additionally receive helpful information on everything from infant feeding, pooping, responding to crying, to helping a baby to sleep. The sessions are helpful in navigating the world of motherhood as a newbie Mom which can be an extremely daunting experience. “To a child, love is spelled T-I-M-E.” Research shows that moms who may suffer anxiety or depression after childbirth, if they are and feel supported by meeting other new/repeat mothers. This support aids in a significant reduction of negative feelings that the isolation as a new mom can bring. Mothers who are supported experience improved mental wellness, it promotes emotional health, and helps to release endorphins, the hormone responsible for reducing stress. It allows equilibrium and a sense of recognizing oneself in motherhood where a sense of losing oneself can occur. For so many reasons and in so many ways, mommy & baby support groups can have a long-lasting positive effect on your mothering journey. Do you think a mommy & baby group can support you? We at Belly Bumps Baby And You, believe all new and repeat moms should have access to a support group, whether in person or virtually. To gain advice and share your feelings in a safe, non-judgmental space, as you begin to embark on the road of motherhood.
